This is a listing of upcoming events related to Belarus.

• January & February 2002 --   Cultural Tour: Khoroshki in Western USA   southern California, Arizona, & Utah.

  • The Belarusian National Dance Ensemble Khoroshki (Khoroshky) comprising 65 members is on tour during January, 2002. Khoroshki performs in bright and colorful costumes and uses rare folk instruments.

• November 22, 2002 (Friday) --   Annual meeting of   NAABS   at the AAASS Convention, Pittsburgh, Pennsyslvania, USA.

  • "NAABS" is the North American Association for Belarusian Studies, a scholary organization. Go to the NAABS Web site for further information. (Note: The NAABS business meeting will take place on Friday, Nov. 22nd, from 7:30 TO 10:00 PM. The AAASS convention takes place over four days: Thursday through Sunday, November 21-24, 2002.)
