This section is only a very small beginning to listing the post-secondary, non-governmental educational institutions and resources available in Belarus.

In Mensk alone, there are approximately one-dozen private universities, some of which have branch campuses in other parts of Belarus. Some of these institutions, are quite small.

Current Belarus government regulations (1997-1999) make the process to establish any private endeavor very difficult, very confusing, and expensive.

• Association of Private Universities in Mensk

• Belarusian Collegium (BC)
  Note: This is a very new university (in its second academic year in 1999) with departments of philosophy, literature, journalism, and modern history. About ninety (90) university graduates have entered its programs during the 1999-2000 school year.

  The Belarusian Collegium's master's degree is recognized by the Belarusian and European non-state universities of the same kind, although it is not equal to a state university master's degree.
