Mensk Mass-Media Center (MMC) Information Bulletin
"This electronic bulletin, in English, carries news briefs about government, politics, domestic affairs, and foreign relations and is distributed every 3-5 days via e-mail. It ranges in size from 10-20 kilobytes per issue."
"The Bulletin is published by the Mass-Media Center of Belarus, which was founded by a group of Belarusian journalists who wanted to improve the standards of journalism in their country. With the support of the Soros Foundation and Internews, the Mass-Media Center (MMC), located in Mensk, organizes training programs for journalists, newspaper professionals, television station staff, and others working in the mass-media. MMC provides Belarusian journalists with access to Western news sources and produces news programming which can be broadcast by TV stations in Belarus. The focus of MMC is in helping non-state media outlets."
