"Belarus-pride composer Yauhen Hlebau (Evgenij Glebov) passed away in Minsk, following a long illness."
"Hlebau composed a great variety of musical pieces ranging from operas, operettas, ballets, symphonies to vocal or jazz music, songs, romances, and finally instrumental melodies for theater and cinema."
" 'All genres are essential parts of our musical culture, which should develop together, not in conflict with each other,' Yauhen Hlebau used to say."
Today hundreds came to the building of Belarus Philharmonic Hall to pay last tribute to this great Belarusian composer. "
